One response to “Work-life imbalance”
I do think there is underlying validity to one thrust of the piece. That is, corporations remain in the driver’s seat concerning working conditions. They establish the framework, which is now that an employee is at total risk all the time. A bone to be thrown to an anxious worker is a door and something that appears to be office — an appearance of fortification against the forces of the marketplace. All of which amounts to a cheap replacement for adequate benefits and some sort of commitment to the employee.
