1-2-3, Sesame Street.

Stevie Wonder plays Sesame Street, 1972. Can’t help but thinking that kids’ music was way better in the 1970s!

  1. Oh. Man. That rocks. And funks. Although it’s not a total musical wasteland out there. Alan Toussaint does the music for Little People. Evan Lurie does the music for Backyardigans (both are excellent shows, BTW, though maybe aimed at a younger audience than Clara’s).

  2. Thanks to BoingBoing, I now have a link to a second Stevie Wonder performance on Sesame Street … the same session … in which he plays “Superstitious.” Awesome!
