A company called Cooligy, started by three Stanford mechanical engineering profs, has developed a new liquid cooling technology that keeps computer CPUs cold, helping improve performance. They recently demonstrated the tech running on a notebook computer. How does it work? A 3-D network of tiny canals and a cleverly engineered osmotic pump that pulls water through the system.
