- Layoffs: Valleywag cuts 60 percent of staff – Bad news for online media: Gawker owner Nick Denton is so pessimistic about advertising in 2009 that he’s retrenching now, ahead of the crisis he sees coming. Denton is very smart, so this is a troubling sign. And, it sucks for the Valleywag crew
- Map of the Market – SmartMoney’s visual map of how stocks are moving. Great way to get an overall picture of the stock market
- Gadget Lab Videoblog: Sony’s Alpha A900 Frames Fully, Archos 5 Blinds With Screen Beauty | Gadget Lab from Wired.com – video reviews of the a900 and the Archos 5 (I appear in the second half)
